“We have got a shelter just because of you and we are ready to go hand in hand with Congress”, said most of the residents while interacting with Mr. Pawan Kumar Bansal who intensified his campaign activity with just nine days for campaign to come to an end.
He got an overwhelming response from wherever he went during his campaign. Mr. Bansal while speaking at Sector 49 and Dhanas rehabilitation colonies said Congress is always with and for the poor and assured them of the best amenities in times to come.
The moment Mr. Bansal reached these slum rehabilitation colonies he was welcomed with garlands and shouting of slogans in his favour and the Congress. Many people could be seen even touching the feet of Mr. Bansal as a gratitude for his service to them. They said they could not even think of voting for other parties as Mr. Bansal had met his promises and rather given more.
Mr. Bansal spoke about the achievements of the UPA government and said as per the party manifesto released this week, Right to Health and House was among the priorities. He said people would get the benefit of free treatment and also help those who are paying rent through the Right to House once it comes into force.
He said in city 15 new schools have come up and another 15 have been upgraded and Right to Education had also been beneficial to many. He appealed to the people to vote for the Congress as this was the only party which worked for the people with sincerity. Colony Cell Chairman, Shashi Shankar Tiwari, also appealed to the people to vote for party, which had ensured a house to each one of them.
Mr. Pawan Bansal also visited Kajheri, Badheri and Sector 44 and spoke about his contribution as the MP in the last 15 years. In different address to the people he said the Congress had worked for the welfare of all and it is not just in words but in reality as well. He said good roads, good parks, and green belts besides other development of city were a proof of development. Mr. Bansal said in the last one year several trains have been introduced and city was never so much connected as it is now. “Better medical and education facilities were examples of how city has progressed in the last 15 years and we will continue to serve the people with the same zeal and dedication”, he added.
