- Sukhna Lake restored to one stretch by removing the island that had come up towards the regulator end.
- Kansal and Nepali Forests opened to tourists through “Nature Trail Tours’’.
- “Garden of Silence” with Statue of Budha built near the regulator end.
- Nature Interpretation Centre set up at Regulator end of Sukhna lake.
- A two kilometer long RCC pavement for pedestrians. Beautification of Sukhna Plaza, Sukhna Island.
- Forest trail from regulator end of Sukhna Lake to Gurudwara Sri Gur Sagar Sahib through the Sukhna sanctuary.
- Botanical Garden spread over 120 acres in Sarangpur Village.
