Under the auspices of the Founders and Directors of Mount Carmel Schools, Dr. Earnest Charles J. Samuel and Dr. Annie Charles Samuel, along with the Principal Dr. Parveena John Singh, the Winter Carnival ‘MCC-2024’ attracted a large crowd this year as well. The Mount Carmelites and residents of the Tricity arrived with zest and joy to enjoy the revelry at Mount Carmel School, Sector 47, Chandigarh. Students decorated and managed their stalls with utmost enthusiasm. It was an array of scrumptious edibles, exhilarating rides and exciting games, that allured the old and young alike. The stage was occupied with dancing and singing performances, and students from different Schools of the Tri-city participated in numerous competitions i.e. Drawing, Border Design, Hand Painting, Indian Folk Dance, Western Dance, Paper Flower Bouquet Making, Doodling, 3D Cardboard Sculpture Making etc.

Among important personalities present were the Former Chairman of Punjab State Minority Commission Professor Emanuel Nahar, and Former Union Minister Pawan Bansal.
