District Congress Committee Urban II, Chandigarh today organised a Sarv Dharam Sabha in the Rehabilitation Complex, Dhanas and felicitated the people who were recently allotted flats on being rehabilitated in this complex from Colony No. 5 by the Chandigarh Administration.

Prayers of all religions were performed and a community Greh Pravesh was held in the presence of Mr Pawan Kumar Bansal, Member Parliament, along with his wife Mrs Madhu Bansal. Mr Bansal congratulated those who had been allotted flats and said he had asked the officials concerned to ensure there is no inadequacy of basic amenities in the area.

Mr B.B. Bahl, President Chandigarh Territorial Congress Committee, Mr Subhash Chawla, Mayor, Chandigarh, Mrs Poonam Sharma, municipal councillor, Mr Harphool Singh Kalyan, municipal councillor, Mr Prem Pal Chauhan, Vice President, District Congress Committee, Urban II, Mr Shashi Shanker Tiwari, President Colony Cell, Mr Mustkeen Khan, Secretary TCC and other Congress leaders and workers in large number were also present on the occasion.

To mark the occasion a community lunch was also organised by Mrs Poonam Sharma, President District Congress Committee Urban- II.
